Cancellation Policy

APPOINTMENT•DEPOSIT•CANCELLATION POLICIES **Online Bookings** All appointments booked online will require a deposit at the time of booking, unless otherwise noted. Some services may not require a deposit; however, deposit requirements are determined by the service selected and the time reserved. Online appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received. — **Stylist-Booked Appointments** In the event that I book or secure an appointment on your behalf, a deposit may be required at my discretion, depending on the service, timing, and preparation involved. If a deposit is required, it must be submitted within 24–48 hours of booking, unless I explicitly advise otherwise. If the deposit is not received within that timeframe, the appointment may be released without further notice to allow availability for other clients. — **In-Salon Booking Exception** Deposits are not required when a client is physically present in the salon and books or rebooks an appointment at the conclusion of a completed service. This exception is provided for client convenience only. Certain services may still require a deposit even when booked in the salon, including but not limited to: • Braiding services • Color services • Extension or specialty services Deposit requirements and amounts are determined at the stylist’s discretion based on service type, duration, and preparation needed. — **Important Scheduling Note** Holding an appointment without a deposit prevents other clients from booking that time. Saturday appointments are high-demand and are the first to be released if deposit requirements are not met. — **Cancellations** You must cancel or reschedule at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. — **Late or Same-Day Cancellations / No-Shows** A 100% cancellation fee applies for same-day cancellations and no-shows. — **Emergencies** If an emergency arises, please text or call as soon as possible and we’ll discuss rescheduling. — **Late Policy** There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. ~This grace period is provided as a courtesy for unexpected delays ONLY and is NOT additional service time or an extension of your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late: - A $25 late fee will be added to your balance. - If I cannot accommodate your late arrival, we need to discuss rescheduling; otherwise, the appointment will be canceled and charged as a no-show. - Please text me if you’re running late so I can assess my schedule. — **Same-Day Service Changes** Changing your service on the day of your appointment will incur a $50 inconvenience fee, added to your balance at the end of the service. — **Communication** I value open communication. please stay in contact so we can avoid scheduling issues!
